How to Apply for Endorsement

The Women's TAP Fund supports Western New York women running for office on the city, county and state levels, from school boards to Governor.

When applying for TAP endorsement, you will be asked to:

• Attest that you are pro-choice/pro-child and provide your stances on key issues affecting women

• Provide committee name and address

• Provide web address for campaign site, headshot, and logo

The Process: Candidates are interviewed by board members and select donors who then make a recommendation to the Steering Committee.  A vote is taken and endorsements then communicated and distributed. 

Due Dates: Applications for primary elections are due the first week of April and general elections the first week of September.  Candidate interviews are held later in each month. 

Applications are offered online, and decisions will be delivered by email.
